DC sells out!?!

It's final!! We know you've all been hearing rumors for the last several months about the Doom merger with DC Comics.  Well all of the paper work has finally been completed and DC Comics is now a division of Doom Publishing Co.  DC stockholders have voted to sell Mr. Kent and Mr. Rogers, founders of Doom, a controlling interest of stock.

Now don't panic DC fans for now all of your old favorites will remain unchanged, until we change them that is.  :)

Photographer dies in freak accident.

It's a sad day for Doom.  Our star photographer Peter Parker died yesterday while attending a local science fair.  Peter was covering the Neogenics experiment run by Dr. Curt Conners when a spider found its way into the beam of the Neogenics device.  Peter was reaching for a roll of film when he suddenly "jumped back" as reported by one bystander.  Seconds later Peter appeared to become dizzy and then passed out.

When paramedics arrived they declared him dead at the scene.  The spider was found dead nearby and tested positive for radiation poisoning.

While Peter was still very young we believed he had great potential and will be sadly missed.

Marvel bankrupt. . . Doom happy

You heard it here first.  Doom Publishing Co. now controls 51% of Marvel Comics.

Marvel had again declared bankruptcy and Doom saw a great opportunity to "invest" in Marvels future.

In the spirit of Marvels acquisition of Malibu Comics we will be making small adjustments to the Marvel Universe.  Malibu, Star, and New Universe fans you will be most intrigued by the coming changes.

In other news. . .

In a recent landmark ruling by the United States Supreme Court Doom Publishing Co. was found to not be a monopoly.

During the trial Doom attorney Matt Murdock presented evidence stating that Doom has many competitors such as:  New England, Dark Horse, Chaos, and Kitchen Sink Comics.  Murdock was quoted in his closing argument as saying, "That's everything out there including the Kitchen Sink.  We can't help it if they're not very good."

Dispute arises at Wayne Manor

This past weekend at millionaire Bruce Wayne's annual Comics Convention a dispute arose between actor Adam West and Hollywood movie director Joel Schumacher.

The dispute began when Schumacher reportedly spilled his drink on West.  West only wanted an apology however Schumacher refused citing West was at fault.  West then struck Schumacher repeatedly and then began to beat him about the head and shoulders.  It took Commissioner Gordon, Lt. Bullock and Sgt. Eckhardt several minutes to restrain West enough for the paramedics to attend to Schumacher's injuries.

Schumacher is in critical condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital and is not expected to survive.  West has been released from custody with a minor slap on the wrist.

Jurgens leaves DC

Dan Jurgens retired from the comics business this week, saying that he had neglected his family too long and that he needed to, "get back to what is really important in life."  However, sources at DC Comics report that Jurgens had never fully regained the respect of his colleges after that whole "Death of Superman" fiasco.  Undisclosed DC officials are quoted as saying, "You can kill Superman, you can split him into red and Blue, you can even inexplicably revive him from both, but don't touch the hair."
